No, you do not need to be a native English speaker to be on the App. Pingo space is not just a platform for teaching English. We have a large variety of selections of languages and skills that you can monetize on our app.
The majority of the gigs will be taught in English. Our clients are looking for an “English in the real world” experience. Of course if you are teaching another language you will be using that language. Also if you feel the need to clarify using Chinese, that’s great, but be mindful that your client is not paying you to practice your Chinese with them.
To be on the certified Expert list you would have to send a scanned document proving your ability to teach a particular skill to firstname.lastname@example.org, with your name and profile number. Pingo space reserves the rights to judge the authenticity or qualification of the degree to certify you on our app. If your certification process is successful you will become an Expert and icon will appear next to your name to let potential clients know that you are certified. The simple answer is no. Please see above for what to do if you are certified in your field.
One of the best ways to be competitive is to know your market. Do some market research by looking at other associates’ profiles that have similar specialties and qualifications as yours. We suggest that you pick a price that is fair for both you and your client. If you are still unsure, feel free to contact us for advice.
A surcharge is the amount you charge for your commute. If the client comes to your selected location then no surcharge is added to their price.
Be sure to press start in the APP when the gig begins and have your Client press Finish when it is completed. If there are no complaints, the money will be transferred to your pingo space account within the next 24 hours. Once it hits your account, you can transfer it into your bank account and use as you would normally.
Contact our Customer Service to ensure the smoothest possible adjustment. It is important that customer service is notified to ensure that you receive timely payment.
Please print out the pingo space Table Card so that your clients will have an easier time identifying you at the agreed upon location. Please call our Customer Service if you need additional assistance finding your client.
Pingo space aims to eliminate the awkwardness of negotiations and cash exchange thus we recommend that you do not accept an unexpected client. Additionally, when you have prepared for a gig, the number of clients attending can greatly impact your plan. In order for the associate and client to have the best possible gig, we recommend that the associate only take the number of clients that was initially reserved on the APP.

The name originates from the APP’s Chinese name平行国 “Ping Xing Guo” meaning parallel worlds, the APP embodies the concept of merging these two parallel worlds for the purpose of knowledge exchange, creating new interactions that would have never existed before.
